Overview
12 Axes Test is a free, independent political values quiz at https://12axestest.dev/. It keeps twelve dimensions separate across government, diplomacy, economy and society, giving readers a more detailed starting point for reflection than a single left-right label.
How it works
Choose a quick version with 36 statements, a standard version with 60, or a full version with 288. All three explore the same twelve axes. Read each statement and select the response closest to your view. Answers are scored in the browser, and no account is required to take the test.
Reading your results
Start with individual dimensions before reading the closest ideological match. A preference about trade does not automatically determine a view about immigration or public ownership. The chart helps make these combinations visible. A percentage describes a position between two poles on that axis, rather than the percentage of people who share an identity.
Results include comparisons with ideology, country and historical-figure profiles. These comparisons are prompts for further reading; country and historical-figure placements are editorial estimates. They do not mean that a user endorses everything associated with a match.
Sharing and limitations
A result image and share link make it possible to discuss a profile. Review the information before sharing: anyone with a results link can see the scores it contains. Browser scoring should not be interpreted as a claim that the entire site has no analytics; the privacy page covers website data practices.
The quiz is intended for education, self-reflection and conversation. It is not a scientifically validated assessment, a diagnosis or advice on how to vote. The question bank is based on the MIT-licensed 12axes project. The site is independent of other similarly named websites.
Availability
The test is free and available in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. Read the methodology at https://12axestest.dev/methodology before interpreting scores.
