Novastart is an infinite canvas whiteboard OS that brings the apps and files you already use onto one shared, endless workspace. Instead of juggling browser tabs and windows, you open Chrome, ChatGPT, Claude, Word, Excel and your files side by side on a single whiteboard, arrange them however you think, and zoom out to see the whole project at once.
Canvases are shareable. Invite teammates to a shared canvas and everyone works in the same space in real time, with the same apps and files in view, so research, writing, spreadsheets and AI chats stay together instead of being scattered across separate tools.
Novastart also brings AI agents directly onto the canvas. Each agent gets its own cursor and keyboard, so it can open apps, work inside them and collaborate alongside you and your team in real time, right where the work is happening rather than in a separate chat window.
A typical canvas might hold a research doc in Word, a model in Excel, a few Chrome tabs and a ChatGPT or Claude conversation, all visible at once. Teammates can join that same canvas to review and edit together, and an AI agent can pick up a task on the canvas while everyone watches it work.
Novastart is for anyone who wants one place for their apps, files, people and AI agents. It is based in San Francisco, was founded in 2025, and is freemium: you can start free and upgrade later.
