Introduction

ISPbox is a comprehensive ISP management software designed to streamline operations for Internet Service Providers, from emerging startups to large-scale enterprises. It offers a true free plan for up to 20 active clients, making it an accessible solution for new ISPs. The platform integrates essential functions such as billing, customer relationship management (CRM), ticketing, and network automation into a single, intuitive workspace.

Key Features:

  • Network Maps: Visualize, plan, and document your entire network infrastructure on live maps. This includes mapping base stations, cabinets, splitters, sectors, and cable routes. It also provides insights into predicted optical path impact and ties topology data to real network objects, aiding in both planning and daily operations.
  • Customer Portal: Empower your subscribers with a branded self-service portal. Clients can view their account balance, open invoices, service status, and support activity. The portal supports secure card payments and optional autopay via Stripe, along with integrated support workflows for submitting tickets and tracking payment history.
  • Real-time Network Monitoring: Proactively maintain your network with built-in monitoring tools. ISPbox performs automatic ICMP ping checks for routers and clients, displays visual status indicators on the dashboard, and sends instant alerts for any downtime, ensuring network stability.
  • Billing Automation: Automate critical financial processes including invoicing, payment reminders, and collections. The platform allows integration with preferred payment gateways for seamless transaction processing.
  • Speed and Access Control: Manage subscriber plans in real-time by setting bandwidth profiles, authorizing devices, and pausing services directly from the dashboard.
  • Compatibility with Mikrotik: ISPbox offers deep integration with Mikrotik RouterOS, enabling direct provisioning of services and addressing, as well as automated PPPoE/Hotspot configuration and subscriber management. Support for more vendors is planned.

Use Cases:

  • Emerging ISPs: The free Starter plan (0-20 clients) provides essential tools like client management, support ticketing, team calendar, and leads pipeline, allowing new businesses to grow without initial software costs.
  • Growing ISPs: The Growth plan (21-100 clients) adds advanced features such as monitoring, alerts, network maps, and a customer portal with payments, supporting scaling operations.
  • Large-Scale ISPs: The Scale plan (100+ clients) offers dedicated support, custom integrations, and custom feature development to meet the complex needs of large enterprises.

ISPbox aims to simplify daily operations, reduce the need for multiple disparate tools, and enable ISPs to focus on business growth. It also provides extensive documentation through its Wiki and offers multi-language support (English, Portuguese, with Spanish coming soon) to cater to a global user base. Future innovations include unified customer communication, an API integration platform, and advanced client statistics, ensuring the platform evolves with the needs of the ISP industry. The early access program offers extended free trials, priority feature access, and direct support for early adopters, fostering a collaborative development environment.
